The Existence Paradigm

The Existence Paradigm began as nothing more than a collection of thoughts and observations about what's out there and how we fit into that picture. (you know, that whole "meaining of life" thing re-hashed again)

Over the years, some of these ideas grew and become so intriguing that we were compelled to develop them into stories in order to provide a more engaging vehicle for their presentation.

The result is a collection of 5 short stories that explore the mysteries behind death, the afterlife, creation and eternity. The stories are fiction based and are intended to provide either a springboard or counterpoint for reexamination of one's own beliefs.

The initial blocking of the stories started in January of 2000, but we really didn't sit down and develop the actual story lines until mid 2003.

As of June, 2008, we're at about 45,000 words and are realistically targeting somewhere around 80,000.

The first story is basically complete and is contained in the sample material listed as the "1st 100 pages."

Although The Existence Paradigm is built around 5 separate short stories, there is an underlying theme throughout and a couple of story line tie-ins help pull it all together.
