The Premiere
It's Human Skin premiered to a full house on Saturday, November 13, 1999.
The premiere was held at Ward's Landscaping Service in Millersville, TN (just off 31W, behind the Cone station) and it was a roaring success.
Of the fifty or so people that showed, the overwhelming response was a resounding two thumbs up. Even with the rash of sound problems we were plagued with. (and I don't think plague is a strong enough word).
Despite the four hours of set up and testing, ten minutes into the show the right speaker started crackling and cutting out. It was a nightmare.
But, I think it bothered Chip and I far more than anyone in the audience.
Between beer and food, we actually spent more on the premiere than we did the film itself. Go figure.
