Have you ever gone to lunch with someone that both intrigued and infuriated you? That's exactly how this friendship developed.
Some people go to the gym twice a week for a workout. Marie and I went to Mac's Diner, ordered a meat-n-three and picked a topic. "Let the sparring begin."
It didn't matter what the subject was as long as we were on opposing sides. Sometimes I'd win, sometimes Marie. But the mental workout was always the best.
Today, the fighting continues.
"I'm gonna separate you two!" is the only thing Brenda is heard to say on Wednesday evenings.
"Remember, it's not as important to have a past as is to have one that no one knows about."
